Tommy and his brother grew up in an orphanage in south Boston. They were kids of the mean streets growing up hard. Tommy was the boxer with the big heart. Billy turned to the allure of easy money. When Billy talks Tommy into robbing a drug dealer everything goes horribly wrong. Tommy kills the dealer and ends up being executed by the state of Massachusetts. After death, he finds himself awaiting judgment in purgatory. He accidentally finds an escape back to living. Little does he know, the real murderers and psychos figure out how he did it and follow him back one by one. When they appear, Tommy gets a blood tattoo on his chest of their face until he can kill them and place them back in purgatory. How long can he keep this up? And what about the woman who nurses him back to health when he first arrives back, will he find a way to keep her safe? Will he find the heart to become the brutal killer that he now has to be? Only time will tell and time is a luxury that is running out....
