About the Book

Erika Starrio lead a simple life with normal adoptive parents in a boring town and went to a school where she found it unnaturally hard to make friends. Erika always had a feeling that she didn't belong but she had no idea how right she was.

One day, Erika felt a peculiar sensation of energy coursing through her veins and with a visit from an unknown admirer, she was told of the world she truly belonged to. A world that Erika, surprisingly, was no stranger to. She had read about the beautiful magical beings that could harness the power of the five elements many times before. But even around people of her world, Erika still can't seem to just blend in with the crowd. She is destined for something great, but at an immense cost.

In this newfound world, Erika will learn much at her new school, make friends, fall in love, and face great challenges. The real question is, will Erika live long enough to come to terms with her past? Will she be able to master her magical abilities before time runs out? A tremendous fate has been thrust upon Erika's shoulders...as if the thought of fitting into high school wasn't frightening enough..
