Dave Steward was born in Nairobi, Kenya on 23 May 1945. He was educated in Canada, England and South Africa. He was a journalist, a diplomat, Ambassador to the UN, communicator, Director-General in the Office of President F W de Klerk and is currently the Executive Director of the F W de Klerk Foundation.
