A big-time animal lover, gfdwtb was especially fond of wolves. She believes that lots of people misunderstood wolves, and she wanted to change their opinion about this wonderful animal with this book. "I think that having more people better understand the wolf will raise awareness of this animal so it will be better protected and respected," says gfdwtb. Gfdwtb lives in Montana working to help wolves in the wild with her husband, Joe, and her ferrets, guinea pigs, dogs, and hermit crabs.
