The stories are actual experiences I had as a child playing the violin. Sheet music accompanies each story. In the book, a child is inspired to write music about the experiences she has playing the violin. The book is in memory of my father who showed me the beauty and importance of music.
The music was written for my beginning violin students but it can be played by any instrument reading treble clef. Chords can be added for piano or other instruments to enhance the pieces.

I have been painting for over 20 years and have exhibited both locally and nationally. My art is colorful, whimsical and illustrative. Playing the violin had a large influence on my art. My art has been featured on the covers of music magazines and journals and recently I had a mural installed with the San Antonio Public Library System.
