Loveable in Two Homes is meant as a story for children between the ages of 6-9 who have experienced a divorce. The story of Liz and Gary show some of the more common experiences of children of divorce. It is important to keep in mind that each child reacts differently.
The goal is to allow a child to process the change, normalize confusing feelings, and learn that they have the power to help themselves by learning coping skills. Sometimes these skills are learend from outside supports.
