The events in this story are based on a true story. As a young boy, Gary loved to be outdoors and one Christmas morning he found a miracle in the cold wintery weather on Wolf Rd in Independence, KY.

Carrie Ward is a hard working social worker in the Greater Cincinnati area. Carrie was born and raised in Northern Kentucky where she and her family live today. She wrote this story as a rememberence of her father's all time favorite Christmas story.
