Some of these recipes are from my childhood. Some are what my children remember growing up with. All of them are simple, delicious, and made with love.

I grew up in Minnesota where pot luck dinners were a weekly occurance. At these gatherings, there was the tried and true hot dishes, the "thought I'd try it this way" desserts and the oh so coveted secret family recipes. My husband and children spent many, many suppers suffering through my attempts to recreate these tasty memories. I hope I make them proud with this cookbook.
