About the Book

This is my second book of poetry. I started it in August 2015, intending for it to be a small project. As I worked on it, I grew not only as a human being, but also as a poet, producing my best work yet, in my opinion. I decided to lengthen the book, and include 200 poems in total, my biggest showcase of work to date. This book is dedicated to my Mother, Gina, and my Grandmother, Marianne. My Mother passed away in 2014, prompting me to want to work on this book in her memory. Sadly, while working on this, my Grandmother also passed away in late 2016. This book is dedicated to both of their memories, lives, souls, and spirits. They both taught me the concept of "pennies from Heaven" and this book is based on that. So next time you see a penny on the ground, pick it up. Someone put it there for you. Someone you love. Someone you miss. And someone who knew you needed it. That's why they find their way to you. Please enjoy. -Nick
