About the Book

Photos and thoughts of an Austrian town on the Lake of Constance that is the capitol of the State of Vorarlberg. Its beauty and majesty is the setting for the interplay of the mountains, valleys, and the water that set it off from other collections of landscape. Even the towns, villages and mountains that frame Bregenz speak to beauty and community.

The images that are a part of the pictures and words speaks to its charm and wonder as it beckons us to come, stay, feel the mist of its mornings, the sharpness of its sunrises, the lasting light of its daytime call all who see it to be immersed.
