It’s not every day a teenager walks down a cobblestone path that leads them into the darkened forest, where a black rose grows from poisoned soil.
Rill Nebry is just a seventeen year old girl who struggles with keeping her grades up and who wants nothing more but to go to Winter Formal with her best friend, Brady. But one morning, after throwing a chunk of snow at a lonely stranger-Kai-things begin to change. She gets threatened by wolves, but more so by the one who’s trying to protect her. The rose is her beast and she must keep it safe, for death is only mere inches away.
When Kai Fraisurr saves Rill from being pierced by hail--she knows he is nothing close to normal. Rill will be taken on a journey physically and mentally and it is up to her to decipher who is really on her side and who’s against her. Maybe keeping her enemies closer is safer than she thought.

I hope that one day I will be a well known author so when I do make it big I can bless those who have blessed me as well as those who are in need.
