Alice Rose and her new baby girl, Mary, move into her best friend's residency, Alice and the rest of the residence are starting to get to know each other. One night, a catastrophe happens. Mary is kidnapped. So, April, along with her new friends, Cathy, Carol, Ben, Susanna, Mike, David, and Alek, must try to find out who kidnapped her, but most importantly, get Mary back. Along the way, Alice and Alek start to find out more about each other.

Ashley Rosado was born on March 26, 1996. When she was 10, she wrote a little story that she showed to her family. That was when she realized she wanted to write. 'The Colt House' is the very first book she every wrote. She gets some of her inspiration for characters, from her friends.
