Marcelo Almora, a student in Campbell Middle School, became interested in writing because he found it helped him to express his imagination as it is: with a sci-fi twist.
He believes his favorite pastimes add to his writing. Reading, he says, “creates even more adventure in my imagination. Video games help me create details and put volume into my story, and suspense movies help me create ‘the perfect’ climax.”
He wrote Laugh of the Magician because it incorporates his two favorite genres: adventure and suspense.
