Ivarié Pearce is 15 and is from Harlem, New York but currently resides in Albany. She loves singing, dancing and writing poetry. She write's about things that most people are afraid to address like poverty, rape, war, racism, politics, teen pregnancy and religion. She's been writing poetry for almost 5 years now and feel's that in her poetry she can address world issues in simplicity and let people feel it's o.k. to talk about them. "People are not really public about their problem's because often their ashamed or don't want to be judged. I feel like it's my job to speak in their behave because I have been through similar issues but I simply can care less what they think of me until they have walked in my size 8 shoe's."
