Alex the acorn finds ways to get away from Charlie Chipmunk. Charlie the Chipmunk finds ways to get away from Tom the Cat. Tom the Cat finds ways to get away from Darryl the dog. Darryl the dog finds ways to get away from Willy the kid. At the end of the story they all become friends and have a picnic together.
