About the Book

Haru, Haruto, and Chai have been the best of friends since they were in the crib. Now their families are moving to a new state. To make the move even more fun, they treat it as if it were just a roadtrip. In this, the families feel better about their temporary move, except for one person. Chai's Uncle Jon does not like that his relatives are leaving him behind. In turn, he chooses to follow the family during their adventure and hides to keep from being seen. A wannabe "hip" dad, needy uncle, good friends, and bickering twins-who could ask for more?

I am a 13 year old student who loves the arts. I dream of one day having a job that involves creativity with a varied and fun working enviroment. Currently, I am slowly learning German and a bit of Japanese. Eventually , these two languages will be conquered and mastered to a perfect T. Za Kyuu Natsu Dooro Ryokoo (The Summer Road Trip) is the third book ever written by me and my first short novel aimed towards teens. Frustration and determination push me through this project and it will eventually be completed. If all goes well, a sequel may be published during the summer months. If not, a different story may be in its place. Please enjoy the book.

I love the Japanese language and try to incorporate a small amount of romaji into this book. Mostly words like nii-san, otouto, aniki, otouto-kun, aniki-san and the such are used. The book isn't completed, yet, but it may have a pretty decent start.
