Contest Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE CHANCES OF WINNING.
All publicly viewable, published books with the subject "A Book about My School - with school name on its title" created by Bookemon members can be submitted to the contest. However, only 1 prize will be awarded to an individual member regardless of the number of books they have secured votes for.
Bookemon BOOK OF THE YEAR – A Book about My School CONTEST RULES
Entrants must have a valid email address registered with their Bookemon membership account. Bookemon is not responsible for emails sent but not received by Entrants for any reason, as potential contest winners.
PRIZES
First Place: 10 free books
Second Place: 5 free books
Third Place: 3 free books
CONTEST DATES
Contest begins on 2/1/2016 and ends on 5/15/2016.
SELECTION OF WINNER
Winner will be evaluated and chosen by the editorial team at Bookemon from the top 5 books with the most valid votes cast during the contest period from Feb 1, 2016 through May 15, 2016. Evaluation methods and quality control standards used are solely determined by Bookemon and decisions of the editorial team are final.
NOTIFICATION OF A WINNER
All decisions made by Bookemon are final and binding. The selected winners will be notified via e-mail on or after June 1, 2016. Bookemon will not be held liable for late, lost, or misdirected notifications. If Bookemon is unable to contact the prospective winners within five (5) business days of the first attempt, or if it is found that the prospective winner has failed to comply with the official rules, that individual's prize will be forfeited. Bookemon shall not be held responsible for contacting a prospective winner who did not supply a valid email address or provided an incorrect one. Bookemon is not required to award elsewhere any prizes forfeited by the chosen winner(s). Any prospective winner, who fails to notify Bookemon with any complaint or problem within thirty (30) days after prize notification, forfeits the right to do so.
Bookemon reserves the right to, without prior notice and at any time, terminate or cancel the contest, in whole or in part, or modify the contest in any way.
Bookemon is not accountable for (i) any events beyond its control that may cause the contest to be interrupted or corrupted; (ii) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind occurring with or as a result of the prize, or from participation in the contest.
