Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, A.J. Smith is a licensed vocational nurse who has been writing fiction books as a hobby for the last two years. She moved to East Texas in 2002 and began college, graduating in 2004. Her children and father inspired her to begin writing in 2010, in which she created and finished her first book. She has now finished her second book with hopes in creating a series that will appeal to the younger audience.
