I was born in Meadville, Pennsylvania in 1943. I currently reside in Hillsboro, Oregon and have six wonderful children, fourteen grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. And over the years, like so many others, I lost sight of my own life in the insanity of tending to my daughter, Dawn's Addiction. The problem is if you have not dealt with someone who has been addicted for a very long time, you most likely won’t believe or agree with this. My authority for writing this book is that Dawn has been battling drug and alcohol addiction for twenty-five years with the last fifteen years addicted to crystal meth.
