Christine was born in a small town in the state of New Mexico. The second of five children she was raised in California and later returned to her native land of New Mexico. She wrote poetry from an early age.She received an Honorable Mention Award for her poem "Promise". She also received the Editor's Choice Award For Outstanding Achievement from Poetry.com and the International Library of Poetry. She had 1 daughter and raised her first granddaughter. She has seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one more on the way. She continues to reside in New Mexico.
