J. Ronald Webster was born in Anguilla, West Indies on March 2, 1926. He grew up poor but inherited an estate in St. Maarten which allowed him to lead and help fund the Anguilla Revolution. He became the first Chief Minister of Anguilla. He was dubbed 'Father of the Nation' and a national holiday is celebrated on his birthday. He is retired and lives in Anguilla with the love of his life, Cleo.
