J.J. is the firstborn child of Dan and Cheryle Turner,

Granddaughter of George & Gladys Turner and Johnny & Eloise Widener. She married Mark Everett in 1995, bringing her into the family of Bill & Paulette Everett, children of Wright and Myrtle Everett and Lonnie & Evell Bland.

For a number of years J.J. travelled on the road in music ministry and now teaches high school theatre and voice. But her main love is her own children, Will & Kate. Even when she was travelling she enjoyed cooking when she was off the road, so as a mom when she and her daughter get a chance to "cook something up" they often jot it down in a notebook, so they can add it to the family collection. One which she thought it would be nice to pass along to the whole family!
