A self-taught wildlife artist, Kyle Dixon was inspired by the beauty of North Carolina
its people, wildlife and its history. Kyle developed a love for art at a young age and has
dedicated his talent to preserving a quickly fading lifestyle.
He has worked as a graphic artist since 1986 creating designs and logos for some of the
largest events, organizations and companies in the country.
Several years back Kyle turned his focus on the Wildlife of North Carolina and through
his work has raised thousand’s of dollars in the name of conservation.
He has won several awards for his depiction of wildlife including a best of show in 2006
Kyle is a founding member and the current president of the North Carolina Wildlife Artist
Society a member of the Core Sound Decoy Carvers Guild , Core Sound Waterfowl Museum
and co owns and operates Call of the Wild Wildlife Studio in his home town of Beaufort, NC
where you can find his originals along with giclee reproductions on museum quality papers
or stretched canvas, He also offers apparel and other gift items featuring his work including
custom built home furnishings.
Kyle’s work can also be found in private collections throughout the country.
