My name is Lawrence Ellis Gerosa. I was born in San Deigo, California, but I spent most of my teenage years in Havelock, North Carolina. It's a small town, and as a result there isn't much to do. Boredom, and a rainy day led me to Youtube one morning, and this is where I stumbled upon poetry. I remember clicking on a video of a man, he spoke with great expression on topics that dealt with modern day life. His speech and intensity with which he spoke made a large impact on me, and since then I've been writing poems. In hope that one day I can express my views in not only a way that I see fit, but in a way that can hopefully touch others.
