Mackenzie Brown was born and raised in Albemarle in the Piedmont region of North Carolina. Her inspiration for southern cooking came from her mother and grandmothers who have taught her to cook using recipes handed down for many generations. Her southern roots run deep and will stay with her wherever life takes her.
