I am an Italian tenured teacher specialized in English. I have earned a BA in English and a MA in Anglo-American Literature. I love teaching and I love to see that smile on the students 'faces when they feel they have achieved their goals. During my 17 years of teaching, I have always felt the need for new resources; I edited classroom newspapers together with pen pals from USA, organized recitals and participated in theme contests every time I had the chance to, or I created one otherwise. The lack of a complete English school book to help young students live their learning experience without going abroad inspired me to start this ESL book in order to share with them my personal experiences with my daughters' schools in the USA for over 5 yrs now. As an Italian ESL teacher I believe I know that this is the kind of book I would need to accomplish my job at a higher level, nourishing students curiosity and knowledge, bringing them closer to their peers on the other side of the ocean.
