Lia Carson lives in Woodstock, Georgia with her mother and her 2 cats. She wrote this story over a time of 7 months while she was 11 and 12 years old. She thought of this story at a party while she and 5 of her friends were playing M-A-S-H. She started writing this story on her computer and submitted it to an online book store, where they put it into an unofficial book. She finished this book while she was in 6th grade.
