About Me
Joy A. Lewis is the founder and CEO of Joy & Company. Founded in 2002, Joy & Company is a Christian Literary organization that is responsible for the creation of The Review with Joy & Company and most recently The Christian Literary Awards.

Joy & Company’s focal point is to expose the multiplicity of Christian literature by promoting it through reading, writing, sharing and circulation.

Through The Review with Joy & Company, a television show that spotlights leading authors, and The Christian Literary Awards, an annual black tie event that honors and promotes literary achievements within the Christian community, Joy & Company bring the significance of Christian literature to the forefront.

In 1992, Joy wrote and produced the play “A Walk Thru Black History,” that allowed youth to walk into the characters of African American forerunners.

In 1994 she founded Eagle Nest Productions and conducted a Summer Drama Workshop with inner city youth in New Orleans, La. The group’s finale was the production of “The Incentive,” a two-act play that encouraged the audience to look within to find motivation to move to success.

A trailblazer within the literary community, Joy is a diverse and creative writer. She has written many wonderful works of art painted graphically with words.

Joy embraces the spectrum of Literary Arts with passion as she exhorts, motivates and serves the body of Christ with true sincerity.

She believes, “Those who become passionate about their endeavors are not only successful, but they are pacesetters, mile markers and award winners in their fields.”

A graduate of Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana, Joy has had a long career in the insurance industry. She is a member of The Irving Black Arts Council in Irving, TX and a member of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, TX, under the leadership of Dr. Tony Evans. She is host of The Review with Joy & Company Television and Internet Radio Broadcast Shows.
