Shirley Derbis is the wife of a retired Army officer and is currently living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is the mother of two grown sons; one is the father of her two grandchildren. He and his wife are active duty Air Force officers.
Shirley has worked at the Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council for fifteen years.
