Growing up a Schopfer in upstate New York was quite an adventure. Six chilren within 10 years proved to make our household an active one to say the least. Mom kept up tirelessly. I often wonder how she did it and kept her composure.
I was lucky to have such a wonderful mother and Grandmother, Emma Cadin. They were kind, loving and attentive and knew the way to a kid's heart was with lots of COOKIES!!!
