Jenny Medved is a representational figurative artist & illustrator based out of Sarasota, Florida. Originally from Atlanta, Ga, Jenny moved to Florida in 2000 to attend Ringling College of Art & Design, where she obtained her BFA in Illustration. Jenny is currently finishing up her MFA (Fall 2011) in Figurative Studies from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA, where she is studying under mentors Zack Zdrale, William Whitaker and Warren Chang. She has also studied traditional portraiture at the Florence Academy of Art, in Florence, Italy. Her most recent paintings are rendered in water-soluble oils, a recent transition from watercolors.

Jenny is an active member of The Portrait Society of America and The Florida Watercolor Society. She has shown her work in local and national group exhibitions, including the American Women Artists Master Signature Show & Exhibition in Dallas, TX.
