Dian Trompler, a retired teacher, began collecting children's picture books for her classroom but later realize they were really for herself. Picture books, she discovered, have messages for kids of any age.

In addition to writing and reading, Dian is an avid cyclist and loves to run, hike, and be outdoors in the natural world. She lives in Tulsa with her two dogs -- Annie, a 14-year-old Golden Retriever and Jake a two-year-old yellow Labrador Retriever.
