Born in Wurzberg, Germany, Cathy Wilson grew up in Phoenix, Arizona where she met her husband, SSgt Blake Wilson. After her husband completed his enlistment with the Marines, the couple moved to north Georgia to raise their three children and be close to Cathy's father. Growing up, her children loved to hear the imaginative, entertaining stories she would often tell them. As adults, they encouraged her to write these stories down, so that other children could enjoy them just as much as they did.
