I grew up in Walnut, Iowa and graduated from the Walnut Community High School. I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Brad Kay, for 27 years. We have 3 children. They are Heather Travis (married to Jeff Travis in 2007), Steven Kay (married to Natalie Stoural in 2009), and Kelly Kay. We have one grandaughter, Payton Kay Travis (daughter of Heather and Jeff). I am currently working in the office at the Walnut Community School.
