Laura Payton, Lillian Sheppard and Marily Driver are the great matriarchs of our family. They respresent the light hearted, self-less and loving thread that weaves through our family. These women prepared some of the most wonderful meals our family has experienced. Within these pages are the recipes that will be passed from generation to generation.

The author is the daughter of Marilyn Driver. She and her Mom live in Kansas City, MO. They both love to cook, and enjoy family gatherings. At these gathering, several family members have requested a cook book to capture the recipes that the family loves. This is a small sampling of family favorites, and a labor of love. It is our hope that the family will enjoy this book, and that they will pass it on to the next generation. Keep weaving that thread of love!
