The story centers around a young adopted mutt named "Pizza" who has a scruffy yellow-orange fur coat with reddish brown spots, similar to pepperoni slices. He and his owner, a young pizza delivery driver named Rick Renley, live in a small quaint town called Snowy Falls in Maine. Alan Gray Seashole was born in Maryland and raised by wonderful parents who encouraged complete freedom of imagination. Since the tender age of five, he fell in love with story telling, and while working on his much larger young adult novel to be released around mid 2017, he felt a change was needed to clear his mind, and thus Pizza the Dog was born.

Mr. Seashole is a college graduate with high honors and is adept at numerous musical instruments, as becoming a composer was his first attempt at making a living through art. He began writing novels at the tender age of 11, and many of those old themes have been tweaked, improved, and expanded upon over the last 20 years. There is no other joy quite like creating a new world with unique inhabitants traveling through a complex web of your own design. Even I don't know how they will fair as I'm writing each paragraph. This is aimed at a younger audience, but adults I believe will enjoy it too, as it is a throwback to classic young lit.
