'Sniffles & Balloons' was inspired by my Moms spirit, curiosities, love, and most of all her humor. I wrote these rhyming stories to give her a laugh.
Over the last 20 or so years, they had been scattered bits of paper, putting them in a book has given them new life. After I put it all together, and read at it as a book for the first time, it absolutely knocked me to tears, it finally told a story, a bit of her story, just a hint of who she was. It has a sad ending, just like most life stories, I hope this short story brings you a sniffle as well as a smile, just like a balloon does.
This is part one of many books to come, they will be filled with my thoughts, rants, observations, and life adventures.
