This study aimed to assess the level of collegial leadership of school heads and teachers’ collaborative practices as a basis for a school-based model of collegial collaboration in the Schools Divisions of Quezon City, Caloocan, Marikina, Manila, and Valenzuela during the school year 2020-2021, an output intended for empowering school leaders. The sources of data in this study were 315 respondents comprising 35 school heads, 70 master teachers, 210 teachers assigned in public secondary schools. The identified respondents were drawn from public secondary schools in five (5) Schools Divisions in the National Capital Region (NCR) namely: Quezon City, Caloocan, Marikina, Pasig, and Manila.
Based on the findings, the level of collegial leadership of the school heads, in terms of decision-making, empowerment, accountability, and transparency as perceived by the three (3) groups of respondents is Highly Practiced (HP) for acquiring an overall X̄W of 3.77, and the school..
