I was born in a little town, Mayfield, Kentucky. I was an educator, worked in the church, as well as in the community. I was graduate of Murray State University. A very encouraging motivator, I worked with children in the school system and in the community. I lived by a quote, “If it is to be, then it’s up to me.” I believed in making a difference no matter what my hands was a part of. I have one brother and one sister and was raised by my mother.
