I began my formal career with preschool children 23 years ago when I moved from RI to FL where I had taught school and owned an educational toy and gift shop.
I have a BA in elementary education and a Masters degree in Human Development. I am an adjunct professor in the education department of Edison State College, and provide trainings for the Early Learning Coalition of SWFL and the City of Cape Coral FL. I also provide technical assistance for child care centers and family child care homes.I am the mother of 3 adult children and grandmother to 6 children and great-grandmother to 1 great grandaughter.
