I was a Deputy with the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office for 2 years and taught Gang Resistance Education and Training in the Cumberland County Schools. Working with these precious children has brought me an awareness of the need for the promotion of values and teaching of sound morals and character from both parents and teachers alike. The desire to write this book came after searching through many libraries and I was not able to find books on character education that were stimulating and currant for the children.
