Margaret Steinacker retired in 2008 after 34 years of teaching. She spent 30 of those years teaching GED classes in her community as well as in two county jails. As parents of two boys and grandparents of 10, Margaret and her husband Gerry have shared each other's dreams for 42 years. She loves almost anything which involves creativity. She knits, crochets, writes, sings, plays keyboards, and edits her church's newsletter and weekly bulletins. She is published in Daily Devotions for Writers, Penned from the Heart, The Standard Weekly Paper and Standard Devotions. She attends and directs the music at The Writing Academy Weekend every year at Mt. Olivet Retreat Center in Minneapolis, MN
