N. L. Shaw has been an educator in international schools for more than thirty years, She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy from Iowa State University, and has served international communities in Japan, Germany, Cameroon, and the United Kingdom. Following the loss of her mother in 2011, Dr. Shaw found comfort and meaning from the mouths of babes, and thus has emerged 'Celebrating Granny.'
