I started writing poetry when I was around the age of 12 or 13. My 9th grade year in school, I started taking creative writing classes. Then I learned how to write sonnets. Sonnets are my favorite poetry writing style. Over the years, I collected all my poems and they kept adding up. Everytime I'd wish to express my feelings I would write a poem. Thats why I named my poetry book Expressions of the Soul. How I like to look at it, is that each poem is a different face or mood of your soul or life.
