Tyakeia Spangelo grew up in Florida. Her father, a retired navy man, filled her life with classic arts, ballets and music. Her mother read to her from since she was in the womb. Tyakeia has many unpublished works. She works part time as a teller and lives in Georgia with her Army husband and German Shephard, Kaiser.
