Yvonne Cruz was born and raised in Indio, CA. AA guitarist and singer, Yvonne's desire to become an author originated during her senior year in high school when college staff informed her she'd tested in the top 6n the United States in the subject of Writing. Her father, Grandmaster Freddie G. Cruz began expressing an interest in sharing his life story with the world in the early 2000's. In 2008, she chose him as her first project and began the three year journey it would take to make it happen. She has three books in the works, currently resides in Indio, California and is an advocate of donating blood and cancer research. This is her publication debut.
