Eileen Penko Scharsu was born January 21, 1932 to Joseph and Josephine Menart. She married Joseph Penko on February 21, 1952. They had five children together--Mary Jo, Joe, Melanie, Melinda, and Jeffrey. Eileen enjoyed a full, rich life with Joe and was deeply saddend by his death in 1991. Over time she was blessed to meet Jack Scharsu. They married and enjoyed eight years together before his passing. Today she spends her time involved in several ministries at her church, entertaining friends and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will soon welcome her second great grandchild into the world. Her life has been filled with caring for others and loving her family.
