My Mother was a great cook. She knew how to season plain food to make it very tasty. She enjoyed knowing when people liked her food. She liked trying new recipes, which is probably the reason I have done that. We were country folks. Mother always had a vegetable garden, so we enjoyed very fresh vegetables as we grew up. There were nine of us in the family, so we were very fortunate to have a Mother who knew how to make good healthy foods. I hope my recipes will inspire you, Ashley, to prepare good tasty food.
