About Author:
Robles is from a small town in Puerto Rico, called Playa de Ponce, where he and his friends played sports in the unpaved road that ran through town. Equal to his love of sports was his love of drawing, and his humorous take on life led him to cartooning. As an adult his talent was recognized by legends of the genre such as Miami Herald's Pulitzer Prize winner, Jim Morin; creator of Spy vs. Spy, Mad Magazine's Antonio Prohias; and Miami News and Palm Beach Post Pulitzer Prize winner, Don Wright.
Robles' cartoons have been published in The Sun Reporter, Home News, The Voice, Waterfront News, Mi Casa, Free Press, and Tropic Times, and he has done artwork for Visa Master card. Robles has been a frequent festival and gallery exhibitor, beginning in 1976 with one-show in Hialeah's JFK library, the Bacardi Art Gallery, and the Dinner Key Art Festival. His recent book, Fins and Gills featured funny and cute underwater characters.
