Born in the back room of a two roomed tenement rental in December 1949, I was to witness the last of old Dublin as depicted by Sean O'Casey. A Dublin that would slowly be eroded from the city as the 60's came and gave way to the 70's and 80's, a way of life would disappear,but was it for the better.
